(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, AUGUST 18 - "Thanks be to God and to the work of many today we have vaccines to protect us from Covid-19. These give the hope of putting an end to the pandemic only if they are available to everyone and if we collaborate with each other ".

Thus the Pope in the video message to the peoples on the vaccination campaign against Covid-19.

"Getting vaccinated, with vaccinations authorized by the competent authorities, is an act of love - he says -. And helping to ensure that most people get vaccinated is an act of love".

"Vaccinating us is a simple but profound way of promoting the common good and taking care of each other, especially the most vulnerable."
