"Giving meaning to your savings": the customers of the Toulouse-based supplier Ilek can invest in renewable energies

This is how more than 150 Ilek customers participated in the financing, launched in mid-June, of a pilot biomethane production project in Maine-et-Loire, to the tune of 500,000 euros.

If the average ticket is 3000 euros, the investment is possible from 100 euros.

"The annual remuneration is also 5 to 7%", assures Rémy Companyo.

This site could eventually provide the equivalent of the gas consumption of 915 households per year.

Founded in 2016 in Toulouse, the Ilek company today boasts 115,000 customers. It offers gas from anaerobic digestion and electricity from wind, hydraulic and, starting this year, solar. And customers can choose which producer they want to pay. And the latest Crédoc study, ensuring that 82% of French people say they are "encouraged" to buy a product if the company ensures fair remuneration for producers, reinforces its positioning.
