Green vault in Dresden: sixth suspect caught after stealing jewels

In November 2019, criminals captured historical jewelry from the 18th century in Dresden's Green Vault. Another suspect has now been arrested in Berlin.

About a year and nine months after the spectacular jewel theft from the Green Vault in Dresden, the investigators caught a sixth suspect.

As announced by the public prosecutor and the police in the Saxon capital, the 23-year-old was arrested in an apartment in Berlin.

He is also said to have been directly involved in the nightly museum break-in.

According to investigators, all suspects who are suspected to be directly involved in the crime have now been identified and identified by the authorities.

Four suspects were caught at the end of 2020, and a fifth in May this year.
