are a great side dish (or a small snack) and can be prepared in the oven in a flash. To do this, the potatoes are skewered and cut all around so that a spiral is created. That kind of potato preparation whirls right into your heart, bet?

Recipe for tornado potatoes: the ingredients
2 large potatoes
100 g parmesan
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tbsp melted butter
You can of course adjust the amounts to suit your taste and simply double the number of potatoes, depending on how many hungry eaters you are expecting.

Large, elongated potatoes are ideal here instead of round, smaller ones.
They eventually need to be cut into spirals.

How to Make the Best Side Dish: Tornado Potatoes
Wash and dry the potatoes.
Peeling is not necessary.
Skewer a potato on each skewer.
Cut the potatoes in a spiral with a knife while slowly turning the potato.
The potato should not be completely cut through!
Now carefully pull the potato apart on the skewer so that a spiral becomes visible.
Mix the parmesan with all the spices in a bowl.
Brush the potatoes all over with the melted butter.
Then hold the tornado potatoes over the bowl with the spices and use a spoon to sprinkle them all around.
Now hang the tornado potatoes on a skewer on a deep baking sheet or in a baking dish so that they do not touch the bottom, and bake them in a preheated oven at
160 ° C for 25 to 30 minutes until
crispy.
To serve, pull the spiral potatoes from the skewers onto plates and sprinkle them with fresh herbs of your choice.
