The Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus announced today the opening of registration for doctoral programs for the 2021-2022 academic year in the specializations (communication and informatics, control systems and applied physics) from 10/03/2021 to 10/28/21.
In its announcement, which SANA received a copy of today, the institute indicated that nomination applications will be accepted in the period specified above in the department of postgraduate studies at the institute, indicating that the preliminary admission exams for the doctorate will take place on 8 and 9-11-2021 and include (the English language exam and the first scientific exam) and will be determined Later the second scientific exam.
In order to obtain a doctorate, the institute stipulated that the student should prepare an innovative research on a topic approved by the Institute’s Council based on the proposal of the Scientific Research Affairs Committee, and submit a thesis that includes the results of his research and accepted by the jury, in which he leads a public discussion. With an adequate summary in a foreign language and to publish two scientific papers on the subject of the research in refereed journals, one of which is foreign.
