“From an artistic, health, administrative and financial point of view,
the conditions are no longer met to serenely produce a We Love Green as ambitious as we had worked on.
This is how the organizers of the festival, which was to mark the musical return to Paris, explained their decision to cancel the appointment, barely three weeks before its start.
This decision saddens us, it has serious consequences for our festival and teams who have been working on all versions of this edition for 2 years now.
Our motivation and will are shaken but we will bring the project to life in multiple forms ✊ pic.twitter.com/pPdY2t3Kwn

"In the summer of 2021, after a period of optimism for major cultural events, the context has again become strained in recent weeks", underline the promoters, who had already had to throw in the towel last year.
"The risk of making a severely degraded edition for a festival of this magnitude has become too great," they emphasize.
We had to resolve to make this painful decision in order to preserve our ambition for 2022. ”
We Love Green is declined to survive
We Love Green, which was to take place in the Bois de Vincennes, had to face multiple problems, such as the always possible cancellations of artists, international in the first place, but also French, "due to transport, vaccination, contamination ... Added to this was the growing threat of a "hardening of sanitary conditions which would primarily affect major cultural events".
However, the festival affirms that it will bring its project to life "in multiple forms this coming back to school".
First in the form of Wonderland Paris, an ephemeral event located in the Cours de Vincennes, in Paris (20th century), which will remain open until October 3 and offers shows as well as debates and sports.
We Love Green, which this year was to welcome Apple, Catherine Ringer or London Grammar, will also switch part of its program and its artists to other places, such as the Climax festival, in Bordeaux, at the end of August, or Africa 2020, in the Bois de Vincennes.
2020 and 2021 ticket holders can be reimbursed now on the festival site.
