"Ten days before the start of the new school year, the orderly start of activities is jeopardized by problems to which an effective and univocal solution has not yet been provided. It is necessary that the Administration promptly provide clear answers that prevent schools and their executives to expose themselves to difficulties that at the moment appear unmanageable and insurmountable as well as to certain disputes ".
This was stated by the National President of the PA, Antonello Giannelli.
The identification of solutions - continues Giannelli - cannot and must not be left to the free interpretation of schools and school managers: these are complex issues that must be addressed at national level ". Among the critical points is also the fact that "according to the Note of the Ministry of Education no. 900 of 18 August 2021 and in contrast to what is reported in the Memorandum of Understanding of 14 August 2021, schools will use the resources to carry out swabs at only "fragile personnel." What indication must school administrators follow, the one contained in the Protocol or the one reported in the aforementioned Note? If schools have to carry out such a screening activity, who decides the timing and recipients? In other words, the screening will be carried out at the request of the employee or will be the head teacher, in agreement with the health authorities,to determine the timing and possible beneficiaries? When will schools be able to have clear indications on how to manage the involvement of vulnerable pupils in teaching activities, given that the Support Decree bis refers to a specific ordinance that has not yet been issued? ".
