Covid: in the last 24 hours 4,168 new positives and 44 deaths

There are 4,168 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 4,488,779 cases, 128,795 deaths.

The discharged and healed are instead 4,224,429, with an increase of 3,505 compared to yesterday, while the current positives rise to 135,555 with an increase of 617 cases in the last 24 hours.

There are 101,341 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

On Sunday there were 175,539.

The positivity rate is 4.11%, up from 3.3% on Sunday.

There are 485 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, 13 more than on Sunday in the balance between entries and exits.

The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are 45. The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 3,928, compared to Sunday they are 158 more.

In Lombardy no deaths, positivity rate 1.9% 

- With 10,489 swabs carried out, 200 new cases are carried out in Lombardy with the positivity rate increasing to 1.9% (Sunday 1.3%).

Marche, +2 admissions (57), +3 in Intensive (13)

 - The number of hospitalizations for Covid-19 is increasing in the Marche region, rising to 57 (+2): +3 in intensive care (13), -2 in semi-intensive care (6), +1 in non-intensive wards (38); two people discharged. The positives detected in 24 hours are 34, with an incidence of 69.40 per 100 thousand inhabitants, while there are no victims whose total in the region since the beginning of the pandemic remains 3,045. This is what is highlighted in the bulletin of the Health Service of the Region. On the last day 609 swabs (274 in the screening diagnostic path and 335 in the cured path) in addition to 79 antigenic (5 positive). The percentage of positivity on the swabs of the diagnostic course is 12.4%. The highest number of cases in the province of Pesaro Urbino (25), two infections respectively in the provinces of Ascoli Piceno, Ancona and Fermo; three from outside the region.There are nine positives with symptoms; the cases in the last day also include close contacts of positives (9), domestic contacts (11), five in the school / training setting.

In Piedmont 102 cases, one death 

- In Piedmont there are 102 new cases of Covid reported in the bulletin of the Piedmont Region, with a share of 0.9% compared to the 10,742 diagnostic swabs processed (8,086 antigenic); the percentage of asymptomatic is 49%. One death was recorded, relating to previous days, which brings the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 11,711. There are 12 hospitalized in intensive care, the same number on Sunday; in the other departments. 143 (+ 3 compared to Sunday). There are 3,427 people in home isolation, 162 new cases of healing.

In Lazio 348 positives, Rome at 186 

 - In Lazio "348 new positives are recorded (-106) and there are 8 deaths all recovered (+8). The hospitalized are 538 (+32), the intensive care is 67 (- 2), the healed are 621 ". Thus the regional councilor for health, Alessio D'Amato who adds: "The cases in Rome city are at 186".

In Campania, sharp decline in contagion, more hospitalizations, 3 deaths

 - In Campania the positive rate has dropped from 4.55% to 1.29%;

the positives are 190 out of a total of 14,671 tests.

According to the bulletin of the Crisis Unit of the Region there are 3 deaths.

There was a slight increase in employment in intensive care, 23 compared to the previous figure of 22;

admissions to ordinary wards are increasing more strongly: from 337 yesterday to 362 today.

In Calabria 257 cases and 3 victims, positivity rate 11.31% - 

There are 257 infections registered in Calabria, compared to 2,273 swabs, with a positivity rate of 11.31% (yesterday 11.46%). Three victims bringing the total of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,299. After Sunday's decline, the number of hospitalized patients in the medical area (123) returned to rise (+5) while those in intensive care fell (-4) (8). The active cases are 4,056 (+165), the isolates at home 3,925 (+164) and the newly recovered 89. To date, 1,057,233 swabs have been performed with 75,549 positive. The data are communicated by the Prevention departments of the Calabrian Asp. Territorially, since the beginning of the pandemic, the positive cases are distributed to: Catanzaro: 297 active cases (17 in the ward, 4 in intensive care, 276 in home isolation); cases closed 10,528 (10,381 recovered, 147 deaths). Cosenza: active cases 857 (32 in the ward,2 in intensive care, 823 in home isolation); 23,811 cases closed (23,209 recovered, 602 deceased). Crotone: 330 active cases (6 in the ward, 0 in intensive care, 324 in home isolation); 6,881 cases closed (6,779 recovered, 102 deaths). Reggio Calabria: 1,957 active cases (54 in ward, 2 in intensive care, 1,901 in home isolation); 24,013 cases closed (23,663 recovered, 350 deaths). Leap of hospitalizations in Emilia Romagna, another 22 patients

 - Leap of admissions due to Covid-19 syndrome in hospitals in Emilia-Romagna: in the last 24 hours there are 22 new patients, five more in intensive care (for a total of 52) and another 17 in Covid wards (in total 402 ). The new coronavirus infections are in line with the past few days, 558 based on just over 13,200 swabs, with an average age of 35 years. There are also three other deaths: an 80 year old from the province of Piacenza, a 73 year old from the province of Bologna and a 93 year old from the province of Ferrara. The situation of new infections in the provinces sees Parma with 118 new cases in the lead, followed by Modena with 85, Bologna (84 plus 25 in the Imola area) and then Rimini (67). Overall, the number of active cases increases: they are 14,732 (+265 compared to yesterday), almost 97% in isolation at home with mild symptoms.

Infections and hospitalizations on the rise in Sardinia in 24 hours

 - 311 new infections from Covid have been ascertained in the last 24 hours in Sardinia, where there are also three deaths: a 61-year-old man residing in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, an 81-year-old from the province of Oristano is a 61-year-old woman from the province of Southern Sardinia.

1,463 people were tested, processed altogether, including molecular and antigenic, 2,446 swabs.

The positivity rate rises to 12.7 percent.

Pressure is mounting in hospitals.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 22 (+1), those in the medical area 197 (+4).

There are 7,674 people in home isolation.

Fvg, 25 new infections, no deaths 

- In Friuli Venezia Giulia, out of a total of 1,476 tests and swabs, 25 positivity to Covid 19 were found, equal to 1.69%. In detail, 21 new infections were detected on 1,082 molecular swabs with a positive percentage of 1.94%. There are also 394 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 4 cases (1.02%) were detected. Today there are no deaths; 11 (+2) people are hospitalized in intensive care (one discharge compared to yesterday and 3 admissions: a woman from 1937 and two men from 1944 and 1961 respectively). 34 (+2) were hospitalized in other departments. This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The total deaths amounted to 3,796. The totally healed are 105,108,98 clinically recovered while people in isolation drop to 866 (-33). Since the beginning of the pandemic in Fvg, a total of 109,913 people have tested positive for the virus with the following territorial division: 21,773 in Trieste, 51,310 in Udine, 22,029 in Pordenone, 13,294 in Gorizia and 1,507 from outside the region.
