Another storm warning: After brief summer temperatures and sunshine, a low pressure area is currently moving over the eastern federal states.
The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of continuous rain until Monday evening in the southern half of Brandenburg, in Saxony, in the southeast of Saxony-Anhalt, in eastern Thuringia and in the Bavarian Vogtland.
Precipitation amounts between 30 and 80 liters per square meter are expected, locally more.
During the day there could be thunderstorms with heavy rain and gusts in the middle and south of the low pressure area.
Deep "Manfred" caused heavy rain over Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Berlin on Sunday.
