A little over two weeks after the end of the Tokyo Olympics, the Paralympic Games kick off in the Japanese capital.

From Tuesday August 24 to Sunday September 5, athletes from all over the world will compete to try to win the gold medal in their discipline.

For France, 138 athletes made the trip and the chances of climbing to the top of the podium are therefore numerous.

But first of all, it's time for the opening ceremony, which is being held today.

Meet on France 3 to follow the opening ceremony live

Precisely, to enjoy the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games live, you have to sit in front of France 3 from 1 p.m. today.

The ceremony takes place in Tokyo from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and as there is a 7-hour gap between the two countries, the count is good.

This is an opportunity to discover the delegations and the hundreds of athletes who made the trip to participate in the 16th edition of this meeting which has nothing to envy to the traditional Olympics.

Follow the games on France TV channels

Note also that this evening, from 8:50 pm, the program Tout le sport de France 3 will provide a summary of this first day.

Every day until September 5, France TV will broadcast 8 hours of direct, spread over France 2 and France 3

. If the end of the Olympics resulted in a lack of athletic competition in you, with the Paralympics you should be able to fill it without too much trouble. You now know how to not miss any of the games, live, on public service channels, which are therefore accessible free of charge.
