The airline Alitalia confirmed that it
will stop selling tickets and will interrupt its flights
from next October 15, after confirming that the company passes into the hands of the state.
"Alitalia - Societá Aerea Italiana Spa" confirmed the sale to the Italian State and the Ministry of Economic Development of the European country authorized it to make such a decision
The company will also begin to implement a
policy of returns, refunds and rescheduling
for tickets already issued (flights dated until October 14 inclusive).
Passengers who do not wish to use this option
may request a refund
Italia Transporto Aereo (ITA) will be the name of the new company, 100% state-owned, from October 15 of this year.
