In hospitals, the number of patients with Covid-19 continues to increase, including in critical care services, according to the latest figures from Public Health France.
11,171 patients are hospitalized this Wednesday in France due to an infection with the new coronavirus.
On Tuesday they were 11,066 against 10,336 a week ago.
883 new admissions (excluding returns home) have been recorded in the past 24 hours, against 1,145 on Tuesday.
Critical care services (resuscitation, intensive care and continuous monitoring) welcomed 2239 patients on Wednesday, against 2221 the day before and 2054 seven days ago.
182 new patients have been admitted there in the last 24 hours.
They were 214 the day before.
93 patients have died in the past 24 hours.
The day before 153 people had died from Covid-19.
