Death of trumpeter Pierre Dutot, passionate about transmission

The musician, a respected teacher at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon, died at the age of 75 on August 24, 2021.

Pierre Dutot was one of the most admired teachers at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon, where he trained the most talented students for 22 years.

Among them are Pascal Clarhaut, David Guerrier (first prize in the international competition in Munich 2003) and André Henry (first prize in the international competition in Geneva 1996).
