(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 25 - Carlos Santana, guitarist of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and multiple Grammy Award winner, has announced that his new album "Blessings and Miracles" will be released worldwide by Bmb on October 15 . To anticipate the release, the first single "Move", which sees the legendary guitarist reunite with Rob Thomas, singer of Matchbox 20. In addition to "Move", the disc will feature a collaboration on the song "She's Fire" with Diane Warren and G-Eazy, song already available for those who will pre-order the disc.
Before the release of "Blessings and Miracles", Santana and her band will be back live with concerts after an 18-month hiatus.
On August 25, Santana resumes her multi-year residence in the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The tour will start on September 11th from Atlantic City and will then continue for several dates in the USA.
Blessings and Miracles is one of the most ambitious albums of Santana's legendary career. "The title of this album came from my belief that we are born with celestial powers that allow us to create blessings and miracles," Santana explains. "The world programs you not to be worthy of queidoni, but we have to use the light, the spirit and the soul: they are indestructible and immutable. These are the three main elements of this album."
In addition to Rob Thomas, Blessings and Miracles sees Santana collaborate with a host of brilliant artists and producers including Chris Stapleton, G-Eazy, Diane Warren, Steve Winwood, Chick Corea, Rick Rubin, Corey Glover, Kirk Hammett, AllyBrooke, American Authors and Narada Michael Walden. The record also includes the participation of members of Santana's traveling band, including drummer Cindy Blackman Santana and singer Tommy Anthony, as well as son Salvador Santana on keyboards and vocals and daughter Stella Santana, lead vocals.
