According to media reports, actress Letitia Wright sustained injuries while filming the "Black Panther" sequel.

The 27-year-old was slightly injured in a stunt and was temporarily hospitalized, said a spokesman for the Marvel studios for the US broadcaster CBS and the industry portal “Variety”.

According to CBS and Entertainment Weekly, Wright was able to leave the hospital on the day of the accident.

The accident had no effect on the shooting schedule of the film.

The production of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" began in June 2021. As with the first part, Ryan Coogler is directing.

The film is shot primarily in Atlanta, but the stunt accident occurred on a set in Boston.

Wright plays Shuri in "Black Panther", the little sister of the king's son T'Challa in the fictional, technologically highly developed African state of Wakanda.

Other actors in the sci-fi superhero film from the Marvel cosmos are Daniel Kaluuya, Lupita Nyong'o and Angela Bassett.

Chadwick Boseman, who played T'Challa in the original film, died of cancer about a year ago, but the sequel was held on.

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is scheduled to hit cinemas in July 2022.
