A walk like any other was carried out by a woman, this Monday morning in San Martín.
But everything changed when three dogs attacked her for no reason and caused her physical injuries, in the first instance, and psychological, later.
The neighbors saved her life with sticks and bricks, but they could do nothing to prevent the
feeling of anguish
that invaded her in the following hours.
According to the victim's daughter, her mother, named Marcela, is not only "very ill, in pain and with painkillers," but also "
she has panic attacks and despairs
" every time she tries to ask her about what happened in the Intendente Ballester street at 4000, in the town of San Andrés.
“He has 11 points, but there are wounds that could not be closed due to lack of time.
A plastic surgeon has to see her to see if he operates on her
”, he commented in dialogue with El Trece.
In addition, given the adverse emotional reaction that the memory of the event provokes in his mother, he stated that he chose not to ask her.
The young woman also stressed that her mother "luckily she is better" and that "it was only a few bites and it did not happen to adults", but she assured that, when she saw the video, she could not help but think of a tragic outcome.
In fact, he remarked that if he had not received the help of the neighbors, mainly those who began to beat the dogs with a stick,
"perhaps he would lose it
.

“As soon as I saw the video I started to cry.
A month and a half ago I lost my father and my grandfather, and I thought I was losing my mother
”, he outlined.
The brutal aggression
According to the images provided by the security cameras of the place, the victim was walking along the sidewalk when he began to be attacked by a dog, which bit his right hand.
Later, he received a similar attack from two other animals, which destroyed his clothing and, worse,
injured his right arm and legs as
a result of the bites.
The woman
despaired and began to scream

He first tried unsuccessfully to get into a red car that had to inexorably stop, because the attack was taking place in the middle of the street.
The screams and despair were on the rise and the neighbors began to come out to see what was happening.
From a few meters away, one of them tried to drive the dogs away by throwing a brick at them.
But failed.
Later, another man came out from a house, wearing only shorts, and began beating the animals with a stick.
The sequence ended with the
dogs fleeing and the woman lying on the floor
, with visible injuries, after two minutes of bewilderment and anguish.
According to the residents of the area, these are “
very aggressive animals
, mixed with pit bulls.
In parallel, they pointed out that one of the dogs belongs to the grandmother and the other two to the woman's son, who is in prison.
That would be the reason that discourages them from reporting the alleged previous attacks.
The owner of the house where the animals live, meanwhile, found no explanation for the aggression: “They are not hungry dogs.
They are with me all day,
I don't know how they got away
”.
The dogs were removed from that house by Zoonosis de San Martín staff and their future is still uncertain.
