A 36-year-old learner driver drove the car into a guardrail in Thuringia - out of annoyance at the driving instructor, according to the police.

The man had previously braked the vehicle because the student drove too fast on federal highway 4 in the Sömmerda district, reports the authority.

The aggressive driver's license applicant then got a fit of anger.

The car was damaged by several thousand euros.

"The man won't have a driving lesson that soon," the police wrote.

With his behavior, the learner driver received a complaint about endangering road traffic.
