In a house fire in Mönchengladbach, courageous neighbors saved two residents with ladders from the upper floor.
When the fire brigade arrived, according to official information, the house was already fully in flames, according to the assessment of the emergency services, a rescue would probably no longer have been possible at this point in time.
As the fire brigade announced, when the emergency services arrived, two ladders were already leaning against the facade of the blazing building - by this time all residents of the semi-detached house were already outside.
All residents were uninjured after the fire on Thursday afternoon, but a missing dog has not yet been found.
The house was completely destroyed.
The approximately 70 emergency services were only able to prevent the fire from spreading to a garage at the rear of the building.
