No time to die, the new awaited film of the James Bond saga finally arrives in theaters after the closures for the coronavirus emergency and the postponements. The world premiere of the film will take place on 28 September at the Royal Albert Hall in London. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 27 - No time to die, the awaited new film of the James Bond saga finally arrives in theaters after the coronavirus emergency closes and the postponements.

The film's first world championship will take place on 28 September at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

It will be released in the UK and Ireland from 30 September and also in Italy on the same date, with UniversalPictures International, while in the United States it will be released on 8 October.


   The fifth and final Bond movie with Daniel Craig, in which we will also see a new villain with the face of Rami Malek and a new double zero agent played by Lashana Lynch, will premiere at a festival for the first time. The 17 / mo Zurich FilmFestival hit the jackpot by hosting the premiere on 28 September. "This is the first time that a Bond film has been selected in the official selection of a festival," said its art director, Christian Jungen. "We've been struggling for months to get this first and had to negotiate every little detail with the distribution company Universal.


   Never before has James Bond been in the official selection of a film festival," he added. For agent 007 this is the 25th film.


   In "No Time to Die", Bond left active duty and was enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. His peace lasted shortly when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA shows up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond on the trail of a mysterious criminal armed with a dangerous new technology.


   Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the film stars Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, NaomieHarris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes. The producers are Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. (HANDLE).
