This is what Coldiretti estimates on the occasion of the last weekend of returns in August, underlining that it is a real breath of fresh air for the approximately 360 thousand bars, restaurants, pizzerias and agritourisms present that positively moves on the entire production chain.
An important result, underlines Coldiretti, which cannot be jeopardized by the resumption of infections and by changes in color that limit the opportunities of citizens and undermine the Made in Italy primacy in international food and wine.
To eat outside the home, Coldiretti recalls, over 1/3 of the total food consumption of families is destined with an increasing trend that never stopped before the Covid emergency, while in 2020 it was halved (- 48% ) the turnover of catering. But after lockdowm, curfew and limitations on seats, a system has restarted, even with the green pass, which altogether involves 70,000 food industries and 740,000 farms along the supply chain committed to guaranteeing supplies for a total of 3. 6 million jobs (ANSA).
