A piano over 2,000 meters high, to tell of a stone angel who should take away the evils of the world.

Giorgio Sini, a pianist, composer and conductor from Treviso with a passion for the mountains, had the idea and also the courage of such an undertaking.

"When, during one of my excursions, I discovered this stone angel, sculpted by a soldier in the war of '15 -'18, in front of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, I was struck, not only by the beauty of the sculpture itself, but from its meaning. I imagined those wings opening, crumbling the stone, taking flight towards the sky and taking away the evil of man ".

And this dream of his, Giorgio Sini, immediately wanted to translate it into music to bring it back to those mountains and share it, not only with the large audience who, to hear it, climbed up to the 'Angelo Bosi' mountain refuge at 2,205 meters above sea level, but perhaps also, who knows, with that same angel who inspired him.

So the other night, under a starry sky and the profile of the Three Peaks that stood out in the background, Giorgio Sini gave, in addition to the angel's dream, also other songs from his latest album "Angels on my piano" including " Unica stella "," Luce "(the latter taken from his previous CD" Ghost on my piano ") and admirable performances of a classical repertoire dominated by Beethoven. "With my music - says Giorgio Sini - and with the choice to play like this, even in the mountains, I hope to send another message, especially in such a dark period as the one we are experiencing, that of a sacred respect. for nature which then translates into an indispensable need for peace ".
