(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 28 - Fatal accident at dawn in Rome. A 26-year-old boy who was traveling aboard an electric scooter died after colliding with a car that continued the race. It happened around 5 o'clock on via Ostiense, at Ponte Spizzichino. A carabinier patrol from the Garbatella station, while in transit during an abnormal control service, noticed a group of girls waving to attract attention. There was a young man on the ground. Help was useless for him.

From the testimonies it was reconstructed that the car involved in the accident escaped after the crash. The driver would have been tracked down by the local police. His position is now under consideration. The agents of the VIII Tintoretto Group have acquired the first useful elements to trace the motorist who left after the collision without providing assistance, through testimonies and video surveillance images of the area.
