(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 28 - There are 6,860 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister. Yesterday there were 7,826. On the other hand, there are 54 victims in one day, compared to 45 yesterday.
There are 293,464 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy, while yesterday there were 265,480. The positivity rate is 2.34%, up from 2.95% yesterday.
There are 511 patients admitted to intensive care for ilCovid in Italy, stable compared to yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. The daily admissions are 42. The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 4,111, 3 less than yesterday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 4,524,292 cases and 129,056 deaths. The discharged and healed are instead 4,255,808, with an increase of 5,494 compared to yesterday, while the current positives rise to 139,428, with an increase of 1,310 cases in the last 24 hours. (HANDLE).
