A dog that was lost on a vacation trip suddenly reappeared in its home town in France, 380 kilometers away.
On the way back from a vacation in Italy, the owners of the hunting terrier Pablo had made a stopover in Savoy, as reported by the station »France bleu«.
The two-year-old dog explored the area from the mobile home, but, unlike usual, did not return.
Mum and dad waited in vain for hours and reported Pablo as missing the next day before continuing the journey.
A few days later they suddenly received a photo of a dog from friends who were looking after their house in Nîmes in the south of France.
"Then I recognized Pablo, I couldn't believe it, it was a real moment of happiness," owner Catherine told the transmitter.
The dog was actually Pablo - emaciated but very much alive.
"We immediately decided to go home," said Master Roger.
Then they bought a GPS collar so that they didn't lose Pablo again.
