Paralympics: Bebe Vio in foil final

Against the Chinese Jingjing Zhou, already defeated in Rio 2016 (ANSA)    Bebe Vio reached the women's foil final, category B, at the Tokyo Paralympics.     At 1 pm Italian the reigning Paralympic champion will compete for gold with the Chinese Jingjing Zhou, who had already defeated in the final in Rio 2016.     The 24-year-old from Veneto beat the Russian Ludmila Vasileva 15-4 in the semifinals and in the quarter-finals the Georgian Irma Khetsuriani for 15-6.     M


   Bebe Vio reached the women's foil final, category B, at the Tokyo Paralympics.


    At 1 pm Italian the reigning Paralympic champion will compete for gold with the Chinese Jingjing Zhou, who had already defeated in the final in Rio 2016.

    Meanwhile, Matteo Betti, 35 years old from Siena, lost the final for the bronze medal in men's foil, category A, to the Russian Nikita Nagaev by 15-11.
