Wild boar cub found dead in via Igea in Rome

A dead boar cub was found this morning on the street, in via Igea, in the Trionfale district of Rome. In particular, the puppy was in the small flowerbed where there is one of the trees along the sidewalk, in front of the wall beyond which there is a well-known pastry shop. Some passers-by, even with a dog on a leash, got scared and someone photographed the dead animal and wondered who to notify so that it can be removed. The presence of wild boars in the area, between via Fani, via Stresa, largo Cervinia, via Trionfale and via dei Giornalisti is now daily, unfortunately for months. Many complaints to the police and to environmental and animal welfare associations but also on social networks to report the presence of a herd of wild boars of about fifteen large and small specimens (of which there areit is also witnessed on video) that every evening - but lately also in the early morning - they stroll down the street in search of food. Their goal, as shown by photos and videos made by citizens, are the waste bins for the organic that are thrown down "shoulder" or "head" so as to let out the bags that are torn and emptied, as can be seen from the traces they leave on the ground. Traces of excrement, then, were found, in the past, also near the garage of some condominiums and in the vicinity of the doors of some buildings. Needless to say, the fear of the citizens who come home in the evening on foot or walk their dogs and find themselves in front of the herd of boars arriving or dining next to the bins.
