You'll have to believe us when we say it's not an easy job, not an easy one at all.

To experience all the new products that come out of the Israeli market (and sometimes even outside it), to taste before everyone else, deliveries and other deliveries, paper bags that accumulate in the office (and at home), a constant feeling of satiety.

Seriously, it's harder than it looks, and no one pays you for the gym, or compensates you for the rapidly evolving sense of FOMO in the mind.

However, a "new on the shelf" section, with its tasters, curiosities and loyal consumers, has set out again.

And this time - patties and sausages, yogurt and oats, tea and cake preparation.

Yes, we are very eclectic.

More than half a year since the launch of its cracking-explosive-corrupt pints, Magnum has been expanding the shelf with a personalized cup version of the same ice cream trick.

The double launch, in classic vanilla flavors (vanilla flavored cream ice cream with chips and top coating containing dark chocolate) and almond vanilla (vanilla flavored cream ice cream with candied almonds, chips and top coating containing milk chocolate), accompanied by a relatively sophisticated packaging construction, including a hidden wooden spoon And a plastic lid that helps "break" the coating.

In practice, it's a cute game just like the original Pint, with successful ice cream and a much-more normative size.

In two words: crack pie.

Sausages and meatballs, Beyond Meat

Beyond Meat Sausages and Meatballs (Photo: Beyond Meat)

Beyond Meat continues to expand its product portfolio, launching plant-based sausages in two flavors - regular and spicy Italian - as well as "meat" balls.

We fulfilled our role as messengers and passed the tasting packages with a little more plant perspective than us. This is what he had to say:

"In a country where there is no shortage of quarrels, there seems to be a consensus on at least one issue - among the vegetable burgers marketed in Israel, the Beyond burger has no competition. In general, it seems that Marketing in Israel, and almost every self-respecting meat restaurant has put the product on its menu, there is a sense of a ceasefire between meat eaters and vegans.

The reason is simple: when done right, Beyond's burger is really delicious. It has no sense of lack on the part of the vegan, and no sense of condescension on the part of the carnivore. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with a friend at a well-known Tel Aviv hamburger chain, and I was surprised when he ordered Beyond's hamburger for a main course and not a meat dish. In response to my surprise he explained that the Beyund is really tasty for him, and in the evening he prefers it to meaty burgers because he does not leave him with a feeling of heaviness.

Personally, as someone who has tasted dozens of burgers from the plant in restaurants around the world, Beyond leaves dust on competitors, even when prepared on the pan at home. Its components are not particularly attractive. The product is very processed, non-organic and also very expensive - but in the end, if grilled properly, it is the most satisfying vegan delicacy that can be prepared at home.

This is also the reason why I came with high expectations to taste the rest of the Beyond products that have started dripping into the health food stores and big supermarkets lately. Ground 'meat', sausages, spicy Italian sausages and meatballs. The result in each of the products will be less significant than in the case of the hamburger.

The 'ground' version of Beyond is very tasty (reminiscent of the taste of a hamburger) but also very expensive, and not sure it is better than much cheaper versions that are already in the retail chains. The meatballs are good and tasty (whether you cook them in a sauce or just burn them on a pan as they are) but require tinkering.

The hot dogs are excellent, but less suitable for home cooking because they spread a strong smoke smell and the 'regular' sausages are perhaps the first Beyond product I tried that can actually be felt to be not meaty but a 'substitute'.

It is worth noting that although not listed on the list of allergens, the sausages contain beans and are therefore not suitable for the hundreds of thousands of Israelis who lack the G6PD enzyme (they can continue to enjoy the hamburger, it is the most delicious anyway). "In

three words: corruption with an asterisk.

For goat stone, Tzuriel farm

To the goat stone of the Tzuriel farm (Photo: Tzuriel farm)

Tzuriel Farm is expanding its goat cheese series with a new product - 5% goat stone.

The familiar green packaging (200 grams of cheese) raised expectations and provided receipts upon opening.

It is a spread with an ideal texture for its main function in life - spreading, I mean - with a good taste of sour wisdom, which gets almost any addition over it.

Goat yogurt, Tnuva

Staying in the worlds of goats: Tnuva launches a series of white yogurt made from whole goat milk.

The dual launch offers a 140-gram personalized cup and a family-friendly version of 750 grams, and at least 2.8% fat.

We went wild with a portion of granola and fruit that went great along with the sour yogurt, continued from there to dinner with some vegetables and eggs, and finished in a fruit smoothie, as a relatively subtle contraindication to sugars.

The result of all these attempts was simple and uniform - delicious.

In five words: white is still the new white.

Cruzley Oatmeal, Strauss

Strauss Crusader Quaker (Photo: Strauss Studio)

The well-known breakfast cereal brand lands Cruzli in Israel (via Strauss), a new series based on oats.

This is a triple launch of cereals - with bittersweet chocolate pieces, with dried tropical fruits, and with a mixture of nuts and almonds, which was also our favorite - that dressed excellently over a bowl of yogurt and alongside some fruit, providing serious but not jaw-breaking crispiness.

As for the mandatory honey, you may want to point out that the grains are a little sweeter than required.

In three words: Crunch is a profession.

Vegetable French fries, Unilever

Unilever vegetable chips flake (Photo: Unilever)

The old brand is expanding with new vegetable-based flavors, under the “flake chips” wings.

These are snacks made from vegetable and legume flour - one based on purple sweet potato with an onion-cream flavor, and the other with chickpeas, peas and beans - which scatter less than 100 calories per bag in the air.

At this "price", as a cute snack and corner corner, it was worth it.

In five words: between vegetables and chips stop here.

Pomegranate infusion, pompadour

Pompadour pomegranate infusion (Photo: Pompadour)

The successful tea brand is preparing for the holiday with a pomegranate infusion, without caffeine and without added sugar.

This is the launch of the new World of Fruits fruit series, which will soon bring us blueberry, peach and lemon infusions.

Until then, and in the New Year atmosphere, the pomegranates did their thing with a successful sweetness-sourness.

In two words: a holiday package.

Folding molds, cookie

Folding Cookie Molds (Photo: Cookie)

The food aid brand is launching disposable folding molds, which will benefit from the fact that they come folded and are supposed to save space.

The colored molds performed well on a relatively standard baking task, and their initial folding did not affect the process.

As for saving space, one can only say that any such kitchen trick is a blessing.

In three words: thinking outside the template.
