Baking plum dachi: this is how it works
For the yeast dough, put
the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle.
Then add the yeast and a tablespoon of sugar.
Pour almost half of the lukewarm, heated milk over the yeast and stir with a fork from the middle with a little flour to a pulp.
Cover and let this dough rise for 10 to 15 minutes.
Now add the salt, 100 g butter, egg and lemon peel to the pre-dough.
With the dough hook, "beat until the dough bubbles up and loosens from the
edge of
the bowl," according to
Bayern 1.de.
Add the rest of the milk “as required” and cover and let rise for another hour.
For the topping,
wash the plums, slit lengthways and core them;
cut in half lengthways a little.
Preheat the oven (200 ° C for top / bottom heat, 175 ° C for convection).
Roll out the dough the size of the baking sheet and place on the greased baking sheet (optionally lined with baking paper).
Now the trick mentioned is used to prevent the soil from becoming soggy.
According to
Bayern1.de
,
it works
very simply by
sprinkling
the ground almonds on the dough.
Then cover the dough tightly with the plums, mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over it, and at the end distribute the remaining butter in flakes on the sheet cake.
Bake the plum dachi on the middle rack in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, allow to cool and ideally serve fresh with whipped cream.
Some like it when the
dachi
prefers to be served even lukewarm.
However, it is recommended
to let
the
plum cake
cool down a little first.
If there is still a piece left over after the afternoon coffee, ideally put in the refrigerator, then cats can enjoy the delicacy a little later.
Another tip:
sometimes the fruits are a bit more acidic.
Depending on how sweet you like it, you can vary the amount of sugar a little.
If you have guests, just add a little bowl with a little extra cinnamon and sugar next to the cream.
You can't go wrong with this, guaranteed.
Enjoy your meal.
