(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 29 - There are 5,959 Covid test positives identified in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister. Yesterday there were 6,860. Instead, there are 37 victims in one day, compared to 54 yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 223,086 antigenic molecular swabs for coronavirus have been carried out in Italy. Yesterday there were 293,464. The positivity rate is 2.67%, up from 2.34% yesterday.
There are 525 patients admitted to intensive care, 14 more than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. Daily admissions are 44. Patients with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 4,133, 22 more than yesterday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 4,530,246 cases and 129,093 deaths. The discharged and healed are instead 4,260,106, with an increase of 4,298 compared to yesterday, while the current positives rise to 141,047, with an increase of 1,619 cases in the last 24 hours. (HANDLE).
