The Ministry of Education announced the suspension of accepting requests for “determination of work position, modification, transfer, assignment, resignation, and special leave without pay” for employees working in educational jobs and those assigned to administrative jobs in schools.
The ministry asked its directorates in all governorates, according to a statement, SANA received a copy of, to stop accepting the aforementioned applications as of the 29th of this month, noting that this measure comes in its keenness to achieve the stability of the educational process after the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
The Director of Administrative Development at the Ministry of Education, Samer Al-Khatib, explained in a statement to SANA’s delegate that the ministry had previously determined, according to a ministerial statement, the times for accepting requests for transfer, assignment, resignation and special leave without pay during the summer and middle holidays. The midterms for the following year are studied and decided upon according to the schools’ needs and the available vacancies.
