"Let's bring the 250,000 children who moved away during the lockdown due to the pandemic closer". This is the message launched by the president of the Football Association, Gabriele Gravina. His tour of meetings with the exponents of amateur and youth football from all over Italy is resuming in Umbria, at the headquarters of the regional committee of the Lega Dilettanti in Perugia. Visits to the territories, announced in the Federal Assembly last February, which aim to shorten the distance between the Federation and grassroots football Gravina's visit was also accompanied by the exhibition of the Euro 2020 cup won by the Azzurri in Wembley on 11 July. In a real crowd bath, the trophy was welcomed with enthusiasm and passion by thousands of fans who renewed the emotions of Mancini's Italy continental success.

"The most beautiful legacy of this European Championship - declared Gravina presenting the cup and thanking for the splendid welcome - was to see the Azzurri become witnesses of values, friendship and unity, sending wonderful messages and renewing the relationship of love with all Italian fans ". The most urgent issues on the federal president's agenda were then addressed: "With this tour in the Committees we are laying the foundations for the program that will lead us to recover the 250,000 children lost in the year of the pandemic and to concretely support amateur clubs" .
