A two-year-old walked through Erfurt wearing only a diaper, T-shirt and shoes to visit his grandmother.
The little one opened the apartment door unnoticed on Sunday morning and made his way to his grandmother, who lives about 300 meters away, the police said.
Not far from his parents' house, he was noticed by a passerby on the sidewalk of a busy street.
This informed the police.
After the officers let the little boy "try it out" in the patrol car, he was persuaded to reveal his first name.
This made it possible to identify his parents relatively quickly.
