(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 29 - The Taliban have announced that they will take "full control" of the Kabul airport when all the US military and civilians have left.
"We are waiting for the final nod from the Americans to take full control" of the airport, an official Taliban source told Reuters news today.
We have, he stressed, a team of "highly skilled technicians and engineers" to manage the airport in the Afghan capital.
