Usa: rains and winds for Ida, New Orleans looks spooky

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, AUG 29 - Louisiana begins to suffer from Ida.

The category 4 hurricane has not yet touched the earth, already discharging rains and strong winds on the ground.

The images that arrive show a spooky New Orleans on the day of Katrina's 16th anniversary.

    Ida, at least according to forecasts, could be even worse than Katrina and put a strain on the levee systems built after the disaster 16 years ago.
