(ANSA) - MADRID, AUGUST 30 - The princess of Asturias Leonor, daughter of the king of Spain Felipe Vi and first heir to the throne in the Iberian country, today begins a new stage in her life in Wales, where she will attend the last two years of high school in a private college international. We learn this from the media-Iberians, who have also published some images of the royal family taken at the Madrid airport before Leonor's departure.
The princess will attend the Atlantic College of the United World Colleges network, an institution that welcomes students from different parts of the world.
The fee for the two years of high school is 67,000 pounds (about 76,500 euros): King Felipee and Queen Letizia will take care of it, as announced by the Royal House months ago. Leonor, who will turn 16 on October 31, will reconcile her studies in Wales with the institutional commitments she is required to participate in in Spain, according to the Royal Household.
