This Tuesday, around

, an Air Canadian flight with
1,654,500 vaccines from AstraZeneca
will arrive in the country
.
It is the first of four flights scheduled for this week.
In addition, the arrival of another three aircraft is expected that will transport
3,248,000 doses of Sinopharm
between tomorrow and Friday
.
Thus the country will exceed the 55 million serums received since December of last year.
The Health Ministry also reported that in the next two weeks

of the 580,000 Pfizer vaccines planned for September
will arrive

These items will be used to complete heterologous schemes -that combine different brands- and to
start the vaccination of 17-year-old adolescents without risk factors
.
As Minister Vizzotti anticipated, during October they will seek to advance with
all the boys from 12 years old
.
According to the delivery schedule sent by Pfizer,
another 19.5 million doses
are expected to arrive in
the last quarter of the year.
In addition, it is expected that between September 5 and 16,
400,000 single doses of CanSino will arrive
to be applied to the population considered "difficult to access": homeless people, migrants, refugees and other dispersed populations.
Until this morning,
47,900,849 serums
had been distributed to the provinces
, of which
5.5 million remain to be applied

This represents

Within this total of vaccinated, the
14,448,181
people who also received the second dose with which the immunization scheme is completed are included.
That is,
31.5%
of the population.
"With the application of 7,214,275 second doses, today we exceeded the goal we set in August," said Minister Vizzotti, at the first face-to-face meeting in a province, since February 2020, of the Federal Health Council (COFESA ) that took place in San Luis.
There the official explained that during September the objective will continue to be to
complete the schemes started
.
Currently
almost half
of those vaccinated are waiting to receive the second serum.
Then in October adolescents will be given priority and in November the possibility of applying a third booster dose to specific groups within the population with risk factors will be evaluated, the minister explained.
