(ANSA) - TURIN, 31 AUG - A leader, Gianna Pentenero, followed by the other 19 female candidates and then the 20 male candidates in alphabetical order. This is the composition of the PD list for the Turin administrative elections presented today by the center-left mayoral candidate, Stefano Lo Russo, and by the metropolitan secretary Mimmo Carretta. "A list that focuses on competence, territoriality, respect for all the sensitivities that animate the center-left," explains Carretta.
"We believed - he underlines - in a strong, large, cohesive and generous party with the aim of winning in the first round. A center left in which everyone commands, while it is clear that in the case of Damilano he does not command but Lega, Forza Italia and FdI".
"A really strong list - adds Lo Russo -, which inserts new energies into the container of the Pd, coming from the most vital sectors of the city, with the spirit of representing the best skills of the city".
The mayoral candidate then reiterates the importance of "having united the coalition, a priority shared also by secretary Letta. The Pd of Turin was generous and I appeal to everyone to claim this result which in many cases costs sacrifice". (HANDLE).
