Strong earthquake in Palermo

(ANSA) - PALERMO, AUGUST 31 - A strong earthquake, with a magnitude between 4.3 and 4.8., Was recorded by seismographs of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanologists in Palermo at 6.14.

The epicenter would have been located in the sea, off the coast of Cefalù.

The earthquake was felt by the population especially in the Madonie area, but also in the capital many were awakened by tremors.
