Obligation to wear a mask on board. Cableways and cable cars at 50% (ANSA)

Obligation to wear a mask on board, presence of dispensers to sanitize hands, sanitization of environments, sale of tickets with telematic systems, access regulation, video surveillance in stations to monitor flows and avoid gatherings: these are some of the "system" measures indicated in the new guidelines prepared by the Government and agreed with the Regions and Autonomous Provinces, the Anci and the UPI with which the transport prepares for the resumption of work activities and the reopening of schools. For local public transport, where the controller returns among the novelties, the guidelines constitute the basis of reference for the plans to enhance the services that Regions and Autonomous Provinces must send to Mims by 2 September. From today 1 September and until 31 December next, the end of the state of emergency, the obligation of a green pass for airplanes, ships, ferries and long-distance trains is triggered. The increase in vehicle journeys is also "strongly advocated", especially during peak hours. In the document, published online, in addition to the rules, the percentages of capacity to be respected are also indicated, sector by sector.

BUS AND TPL, GROUND CONTROLS

: the "gradual restart of the control activities" of the tickets is envisaged, but also "of the requirements relating to personal protective equipment, to be carried out, in the first restart phase, primarily on the ground". The capacity of vehicles used for local and extra-urban public transport must not exceed 80%. However, it can only be increased if a change of air and filtering is guaranteed "by means of suitable ventilation tools previously authorized by the CTS".

TRAINS

: the green pass is required for access to trains used in the Intercity, Intercity Night and High-speed passenger rail transport services. Verification of the green certification is carried out on board the train when the ticket is checked. In the event that the traveler does not show it or it turns out to be untrue, the traveler is invited to move to an area reserved for passengers without green certification and will have to get off at the first useful stop.

The capacity is 80%. The maximum capacity on board long-distance trains is allowed only if an air change is guaranteed at least every 3 minutes and the use of highly efficient filters.

AIRCRAFT

: in addition to the green pass, it is required to observe various measures, such as providing one-way routes inside the airport and up to the gates, keeping the incoming and outgoing flows separate; measure the temperature; on board, the replacement of the mask if it exceeds four hours; personal clothing in overhead bins must be kept in a disposable container, delivered upon boarding.

Also in this case the maximum capacity on board the aircraft is allowed if the air on board is renewed every three minutes, the flows are vertical and Hepa filters are adopted.

SHIPS AND FERRIES

: here too, from 1st September to 31st December 2021, only those with a green certification are allowed access to ships and ferries used for interregional transport services, up to the capacity of 80%.

Ferries used for connections in the Strait of Messina are excluded, to which yes

the requirements for maritime transport such as for the connection to and from the smaller islands.

CABLE CARS, CABLE CARS AND CHAIRLIFTS

: indicate the percentages of access, also valid for ski areas. For chairlifts: 100% filling capacity, with mandatory use of a mask. The capacity is reduced to 50% if the chairlifts are used with the closing of the windscreen domes. For gondola lifts and cable cars: filling capacity not exceeding 50% and mandatory mask. There are no restrictions on the ski lifts and lift carpets. The previous maximum filling capacities of 50% "may be raised to 80% - it is added - in the event that legislative provisions introduce, for these means of transport, the compulsory nature of the Covid-19 green certification".
