Meghan Markle has complained about TV host Piers Morgan

The UK media regulator has dismissed a complaint by Duchess Meghan, 40, against well-known British journalist Piers Morgan, 56. As the presenter of the ITV program "Good Morning Britain", Morgan had sharply questioned Meghan's allegations against the British royal family in her interview with US presenter Oprah Winfrey. Meghan had concerns about how Morgan's statements could affect mental health and people with suicidal thoughts, according to ITV.
The moderator's statements were "potentially harmful and offensive," the Ofcom authority decided on Wednesday. However, she emphasized: “But we have also fully taken into account freedom of expression. According to our rules, broadcasters can bring controversial opinions as part of a legitimate debate in the public interest. ”Ofcom added that the fact that other participants on the show had criticized Morgan's statements created the necessary context for viewers.
Morgan stressed on Twitter: "This is an overwhelming victory for free speech and an overwhelming defeat for Princess Pinocchio." The 56-year-old, one of the most famous TV journalists in the country and known for his sharp criticism of politicians and celebrities, was after stormed a violent argument with a colleague over Meghan's interview from the live broadcast.

Now Morgan asks in his Twitter statement: "Will I get my job back now?" Ofcom had received tens of thousands of complaints about Morgan's statements.
In the interview, which was broadcast in early March, Meghan had spoken about suicidal thoughts during her time at the palace and raised allegations of racism against unnamed members of the Royal Family.
