at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Aere was born in Spilimbergo (Pordenone) on August 28, 1971 and turned 50 just a few days ago during the Japanese Paralympic Games.
Carded for Anmil Sport Italia, it is at its first ever participation in the Games and made its debut in the national team this year, but it already boasts two bronzes (time trial and road) obtained last June at the Cascais World Championships.
For Italy it is medal number 46 at the Paralympics.

Today in the semifinals they lost 2-1 against China, after having won the double, and thus obtained the bronze, which brings Italy back to that women's podium thirteen years after the silver in Beijing 2008, after the fourth places in London 2012 and Rio 2016.
