This is 'Linda', a new song and video clip by Rosalía with the Tokischa rag

Last week Rosalía announced on her social networks that she would soon release a new song,

in collaboration with an artist with whom she had not worked before, the Dominican rag doll Tokischa.

The launch was finally this Wednesday, together with the video clip, filmed in the Dominican Republic under the direction of Raimy, one of the song's composers along with Rosalía, Tokischa and Leo RD.

With this new collaboration, Rosalía explores new musical territories. Tokischa, with just three years of career, is a singer characterized by her versatility, which has led her to explore various genres such as rap, trap, dance hall and dembow. Just as Rosalía became a phenomenon in Spain, Tokischa has also shaken the scene in her country with lyrics and explicit video clips that have raised controversy. Rosalía says of her, according to the statement announcing the launch of the new song: “Tokischa is a woman who is going to break 'heavy'. Just because of the message that she has, because of what she represents, she is a woman who makes you uncomfortable and when women don't do the right thing, they seem to be annoying ”.

Linda is Rosalía's first release since her surprise collaboration with Oneohtrix Point Never on the song

released last May, and

in February, co-written and co-interpreted with Bad Bunny for the Puerto Rican album.

Rosalía's third album, still without an official title or publication date, is one of the most anticipated releases on the Spanish recording scene after the success of the previous

(2018), which made her an international star.

With him the artist achieved a Grammy Award, as well as the first Grammy nomination for the best new artist for a Spanish-speaking artist.
