We have to admit that we did not think we would be interested in anything related to beatboxing, but this video of someone singing while undergoing an MRI is one of the most amazing and creepy things we have seen in a long time.

If you are unfamiliar with the human tongue, it may surprise you to see how much larger and more complex it really is than the part we see when we open our mouths.

Dr. Mark Abbott, a doctoral student at the University of Ohio School of Medicine, recently spoke about an interaction with a student who expressed surprise at the power of the tongue. Talking to the student, Abbott said, "I'm sure people will be just as surprised to see what the tongue looks like during beatboxing, because I was definitely surprised the first time I saw this video."

The video shows a man singing a beatbox inside an MRI scanner, and allows him and us to look at the distortion of the tongue from a completely new point of view - intriguing, interesting and, as mentioned, a bit disgusting.

It was Prof. Jens Farham of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Germany, who created the technology that makes it possible for the first time to produce real videos from the human body and also to add audio to it.

A microphone that uses light instead of electricity (because of the magnetic field inside the MRI) is the one that captures the singing.

The tongue is the only muscle in the human body that is not connected at both ends, and it is used not only for the pronunciation of words, but also as the main tool of taste.

No two languages are the same as another, so its shape, color, coating, dryness and texture are different in each of us and each of them signifies something different.

The tongue is the only muscle in the human body that is able to function in isolation from the skeleton and bones, and it is considered one of the strongest muscles in the human body, some claim even the strongest.

In addition, the average length of the tongue is about 8.5 inches, but there are those who challenge that as well.

One of them is Adrian Lewis who can touch with her tongue on the nose, chin, elbow and with a little help in the eye as well.

And the truth is it's not very surprising - probably when your tongue length is 10.16 inches.
