A festive addition to any table.

This rice is called in our family, Grandma's palpable.

My grandmother used to put the spiced rice with the herbs and the chopped chicken into the stuffing - the tangible, but at a certain point the rich filling qualified for the vegetables and became a star in its own right.

Thus began to come up on the family dining table, an equally glorious new dish of colorful rice that hides delicious surprises inside.



Every time I make a holiday meal menu and look for an impressive addition, I make Grandma's tangible rice.

Ingredients

    • 6 tablespoons canola oil

    • 200 g chopped or ground chicken breast (you can also give up, for those who prefer a vegetarian dish)

    • 2 chopped onions

    • 2 cups jasmine rice

    • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger

    • 1 bunch chopped dill

    • 1 chopped coriander

    • 1 bunch chopped parsley

    • 3 celery stalks chopped leaves

    • 1 tablespoon paprika

    • 1 teaspoon turmeric

    • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper (flat)

    • Matchili is ground to taste

    • ½ as salt

    • 4 boiling cups

How to make festive rice: a recipe for palatable rice with herbs?

  • 1 In a large pot heat the oil, fry the onion until it starts to turn golden, add the chopped chicken breast and fry together for 2-3 minutes.

  • 2 Add the ginger, chopped herbs, rice and spices and mix well.

  • 3 Pour 4 cups of boiling water, bring to a boil, transfer to a low heat and cover.

  • 4 Cook for about 20 minutes and check that all the liquids have reduced, remove from the heat, leave covered for another 5 minutes, transfer to a nice serving dish and place in the center of the table.
