While the country is going through the lowest contagion curve since the first wave of the pandemic, the Government confirmed in the last 24 hours
3,893 new cases
and another
162 deaths
from coronavirus in Argentina.
In this way, the country reached
5,207,695
detected
infections
and
112,673 deaths
since the beginning of the health crisis.
At present,
189,179 patients
are taking covid pictures, of which
2,293 are admitted to intensive care
.
The occupancy of critical beds is
42.4%
nationwide and slightly higher in the AMBA (
43.9%
).
The data comes from the health part of this Monday, published by the Ministry of Health based on the information provided by the provinces.

The average number of covid-19 cases is at the lowest level since July of last year.
The average fell this Monday to

- with the figures from August 31 to today.
These numbers are a long way from the peak in May, when an average of 33,171 was reached.

The Government reported that at dawn on Tuesday a new shipment with 200,000 vaccines from the CanSino laboratory will arrive in the country, with which Argentina will add 57,407,120 doses received since December last year, when the immunization plan began.
They will be aimed at "populations with difficult access", such as people living on the streets, migrants, refugees and other dispersed groups.
This Chinese development is
single-dose
, and has the particularity of being based on adenovirus 5, the same one that uses the second component of Sputnik V as a viral vector.
This Tuesday, 200 thousand doses of Cansino's vaccine against the coronavirus will arrive.

For this week, according to official announcements, the arrival of the first batch of Pfizer is scheduled.
580 thousand doses are expected during September and more than 19 million in the last quarter of the year, according to the Government.
These items will be used to complete heterologous schemes -that combine different brands- and to initiate the vaccination of adolescents without risk factors.
Until now, Argentina received 15,000,920 are Sputnik V (10,955,260 component 1 and 4,045,660 from 2, some were packaged here), 15,594,200 from AstraZeneca (including Covishield), 22,912,000 are from the Sinopharm laboratory, 200,000 from Cansino, and 3,500,000 from Moderna.
As of this morning, 51,604,874 serums had been distributed to the provinces, of which
6.8 million remain to be applied

According to the latest official data, published in the Public Vaccination Monitor,
61.90%
of the national population started their immunization plan against the coronavirus.
This represents a total of 28,356,254 doses.
So far, just over half have also received the second application that completes the scheme: 16,375,017 people (
35.75%
of the total).
The Ministry of Health indicated through a statement that

of those over 18 years of age completed their scheme, as did

of those over 50 years of age.
