OECD: income has alleviated poverty but few find employment

(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 06 - The introduction of citizenship income "contributed to reducing the level of poverty of the poorest sections of the population" and although poverty levels increased with the pandemic, "in 2020 public transfers limited the decrease of the available income of households to 2.6% in real terms ".
