(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 07 - "Alternative There has presented 1700 amendments to the Cartabia Reform in the Justice Commission, some proposed changes are also signed by other former M5S".

This is what is learned in a note from the group where it is recalled that the deadline for the presentation of amendments expires today at 3 pm.

"The aim is to force the majority to modify this inequitable reform - explains Mattia Crucioli, first signatory of many of the 1700 amendments - which thanks to the impossibility of prosecution creates a sort of impunity for the defendants, even accused of very serious crimes; for those of the mafia, for example, once the deadline has expired, an extension will be possible exclusively for "particularly complex" processes, while for all the others that do not finish within the short deadlines there will be impunity. For the environmental reactors and for many others, however, it is even worse because no extension: this majority fills its mouth by talking about the environment, but then creates the inadmissibility of these crimes ". Many topics were touched upon by the amendments, the note continues, as "that of the prosecutors who will have to act under the indication of the policy - adds Crucioli - which will be able to essentially choose which crimes to allow the investigations to take priority, and which ones to turn a blind eye to, while the Constitution today requires that all be prosecuted ".
