(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 08 - In July 2021 a conjunctural caloric is estimated for retail sales (-0.4% in value and -0.7% in volume). Istat notes this, underlining that on a trend basis there is an increase of 6.7% in value and 8.8% in volume. Sales of non-food goods decreased in June (-0.6% in value and -1.0% in volume), while those of food goods were stationary in value and slightly in volume (-0.3%). Compared to July 2020, the value of retail sales grows in all distribution channels but is higher in small shops: in large-scale distribution it is 5.6%, in companies operating on small surfaces, + 8.2%; for sales outside the shops it is 2.6% and for e-commerce (+ 6.4%).
