Hot, crispy and fresh from the deep fryer: that's how you want the perfect fries.
How you get exactly that at McDonald's, we reveal here.
You just don't always have the time to freshly cook everything yourself.
And homemade doesn't always taste best, does it?
When it comes to fast food, in particular, you can also fall back on purchased products; after all, they stand for fast food that is immediately available.
French fries *, for example, are a dish that you love to eat elsewhere - as an accompaniment to burgers, hot dogs and the like or as a snack in between:
French fries
always go.
But here too, of course, it's better to be fresh and hot than limp and lukewarm.
Unfortunately, at fast food chains like McDonald's, fries are often prepared in large quantities in the deep fryer and then only bagged when the order is placed.
It can take some time from the deep-frying process to enjoying the potato sticks.
And the risk that they get cold and limp in between increases.
An insider reveals what trick you
can use to get freshly made, hot fries
at
McDonald's

Fresh hot fries at McDonald's: Insider reveals this trick
Jonny Massaad is the name of the insider and is a food blogger from Australia.
On his Instagram account
Cake Mail he
shows two french fries from McDonald's.
With a measuring device, he proves that one portion is hotter than the other - a whole 12.6 degrees difference.
But how did he do it?
With the hot bag, Massaad had ordered the
fries without salt
.
And you can do that too to get freshly made fries at McDonald's!
The reason: French fries are always salted during preparation.
If you order french fries without salt, the employee has to make fresh ones, which then come straight out of the deep fryer.
You can then add salt yourself.

Fresh fries at McDonald's and Co .: Trick also has disadvantages
Many users on Instagram are enthusiastic about the McDonald's trick.
But there is also
criticism of the french fries hack
: Firstly, it is more effort for the employees, which creates additional stress, especially when there is a large number of customers.
Second, as a customer, you logically wait longer for the freshly made fries.
The simplest solution here is probably plain and simple communication: As a former McDonald's employee writes on Reddit, you could just as easily ask for fresh fries.
