1.8 million euros fine: Jerome Boateng convicted of assault

Former international Jérôme Boateng has been convicted of assaulting his former partner. The Munich District Court imposed a fine of 60 daily rates of 30,000 euros each.

Jérôme Boateng has been found guilty of willful assault with insult and a fine of 1.8 million euros.

The Munich District Court came to this judgment in criminal proceedings against the 2014 soccer world champions on Thursday.

The fine was 60 daily rates of 30,000 euros.
